Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions tightened their grip on Odisha on Sunday as at least 16 places across the state recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Udayagiri emerged as the coldest location in the state, with the mercury dipping to 3.1 degrees Celsius. Semiliguda followed at 4.6 degrees Celsius, while Phulbani recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees Celsius. Daringbadi registered 6 degrees Celsius, Koraput 6.5 degrees Celsius, and Chiplima 7.8 degrees Celsius.
