SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -- The search for a missing 30-year-old man continues as family, friends and volunteers are disappointed to report that still nothing has turned up at Lake Afton, where he was last seen on December 3.

Saturday marked the 10th day of searching for Ian Shelton . His friend of three years, Jessica Silvey, says she was shocked to learn of Shelton's disappearance .

"It kind of feels like a bad dream. I really have to take it moment by moment," said Silvey. "I think my first thoughts were just, 'oh, he'll come back home.' I never thought it would transpire into now being well over a week and, still, still no sign of him."

Silvey says Shelton was her first friend when she moved to Wichita, and for him to disappear without a trace is unlike him
