The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is embarking on a new project to develop a state-of-the-art exotic birds park in Nahur, designed to become Mumbai's newest tourism attraction. The park is set to feature 24 habitats replicating the natural environments of rare bird species, including macaws, cockatoos, and ostriches from regions like Australia and Africa.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the project via video conferencing. The park, sprawling over 17,139.64 square metres, will include specialised aviaries, visitor facilities, and veterinary facilities to promote biodiversity awareness and generate revenue.
Simultaneously, the BMC will also open a newly constructed ten-storey building at Shrimati Mansadevi Tulsiram Agarwal General Hospital in Mulund,
