After a two-year-old girl was spotted wandering alone in the dark woods without any shoes, a desperate search began, and questions were soon raised about the child's family members

In the early hours of Friday, December 5, a concerned homeowner checked a camera they'd set up to record wildlife, only to find something much more disturbing. In haunting footage, a two-year-girl could be seen wandering around in the woods by herself barefoot and clad only in a dress, at 3am.

The panicked homeowner called the police, who feared the toddler could be in life-threatening danger after wandering alone through the night. A huge manhunt got underway, with officials desperate to find the missing tot - but it turned out she'd already been found.
