The National Weather Service released an updated winter storm warning at 6:06 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 1 p.m. for Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington and Ocean counties.
The weather service states to expect, "Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility," adds the weather service. "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
