A recent petition on the Corolla Civic Association (CCA) Facebook page called for “immediate action to address Currituck beach erosion” and urged the Currituck Commissioners to immediately take steps to address the issue. The petition carried the ominous headline, “Currituck will soon join Buxton on the evening news.’”
