CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A traffic stop in Charlotte’s Steele Creek area led to the seizure of about 3.5 pounds of suspected illegal drugs and the arrest of a 41-year-old man, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Officers conducted a traffic stop Dec. 4 on a vehicle on Arrowood Road. During a search of the vehicle, officers found and seized suspected illegal drugs.
The driver and passenger told officers they had purchased the drugs from Daniel Stout, 41, who was living at a nearby hotel.
Officers obtained and executed a search warrant for Stout’s hotel room. The search yielded approximately 1,520.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 91.5 grams of suspected GHB, approximately 15 grams of suspected mushrooms, 14 doses of suspected LSD, 70 suspected Adderall pills, 40 suspecte
