Police seek person of interest in Albion stabbing

ALBION, Mich. (WILX) -Police are seeking a person of interest after a stabbing Friday night left one person hospitalized with multiple wounds.

The Albion Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the 600 block of Sycamore Street at 8:49 p.m. Dec. 13, according to a post on social media by the department.

After arriving to the scene, officers found the victim with multiple stab wounds. They were then transported to a hospital and are expected to recover.

Police are seeking information and assistance with locating Philip Jacob Young, 38, of Albion, as a person of interest in the incident.
