Impaired driver, Brecksville Road

Responding to reports of an erratic driver at 10:41 p.m. Nov. 30, police located and attempted to pull over the driver. The car was reportedly “completely missing” its right front tire and had heavy front-end damage. The driver reportedly tried to flee, driving over a median and accelerating away from the police officer until the car became disabled due to the damage. The driver appeared impaired during the stop, reportedly needing assistance to walk, and a bottle of alcohol was also found inside the car. The passenger was identified as the driver’s mother.
