At 6:42 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service released a cold weather advisory in effect until Monday at 9 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana.

The weather service says to expect, "Very cold wind chills as low as 20 degrees below zero."

"The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes," adds the weather service. "Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves."
