At 7:09 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory valid from Sunday 7 a.m. until Monday 9 a.m. for Westmoreland Ridges, Fayette Ridges and Higher Elevations of Indiana.
The weather service adds, "Very cold wind chills as low as 10 degrees below zero expected."
"The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken," comments the weather service. "Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves."
