After 26 races, 16 drivers did what they needed to do to stand out above the rest of the NASCAR Cup Series field. Now, the NASCAR playoffs are well underway, with 10 races and four rounds separating one driver from the Bill France Cup and the right to forever be called a NASCAR Cup Series champion.
With just one race left before the Championship 4 are settled, this is the situation: Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe, by virtue of their respective wins at Las Vegas and Talladega, are locked into the final round. Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson both have comfortable points margins over the cut line, as they have 37 and 36 point advantages respectively. But their hold on a Championship 4 spot is delicate despite that, as just one point separating the two means that both stand to be knocked out
