EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities say they arrested an Evansville man after a package containing more than 10 pounds of synthetic marijuana was intercepted.
Detectives say they were contacted on Thursday about a suspicious package being sent from Ohio to Joseph Greenlee in Evansville.
When the package was opened, authorities say there was an overwhelming chemical smell, and two bags with a substance inside that tested positive for synthetic cannabinoids.
One bag had 2,350 grams inside, with the other containing 2,288 grams, for a total weight of just over 10.2 pounds, according to police.
Investigators noted that Greenlee is already out on bond in another case we reported back in March, where he was charged with drug dealing and possession of a firearm by a felon.
