A Fort Payne woman was arrested Friday night following a shooting that left one person injured, according to the Fort Payne Police Department.
Police say 45-year-old Tommorrow Latrice Betton was charged with assault.
This comes after officers were dispatched to an altercation between four females about 7 p.m. Friday at the ball fields in the Douglas Community of Fort Payne.
Police say a firearm was used during the altercation, resulting in minor injuries to one of the people involved.
Two people were transported to DeKalb Regional Hospital. Police did not specify why a second person had to go to the hospital, but both were treated and released.
As a result of an investigation, Betton was taken into custody and held in the Fort Payne City jail.
