LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Guthrie Jaguars are looking to flip their record this year as they return with a core full of experience.

Coming off a three-win season, the Guthrie Jaguars only lost one senior, so they return a core that can score.

Coach Danny Sloan feels they will have a good season as numbers are up and that strong group of returners are back.

A tough non-district schedule with Paducah, Lorenzo, Woodson, Hedley and Rule will prepare the Jags for a tough district.

Guthrie plays their home games at Jack Huey Field.
