STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— After winning its tournament opener against Union-Endicott without recording an RBI base hit, Port Washington found yet another improbable way to win on Monday — pulling off a dramatic 10-9 comeback over Saugerties in a game that saw a staggering 18 runs scored across the final two innings.

Saugerties struck first, plating a run on a passed ball in the top of the second, then extended their lead to 3-0 in the fifth when Cameron Pugliese lined a two-run single. Meanwhile, starter Cam Lyons was in total command, tossing four dominant innings of one-hit ball while striking out seven.
