TEMPLE, Texas — A Temple restaurant is raising money to support the family of a Killeen Fire Chief who died in a crash in May.

Miso Pick & Mix in Temple is fundraising for late Fire Captain Marvin Taylor and his family, the restaurant announced. 15% of every purchase this week will go directly to the Taylor Family Support Fund, according to the restaurant.

Miso Pick & Mix is a "mix of Korean and Japanese" restaurant located at 7011 Tanglehead Dr. #110 in Temple.

Taylor died in a car accident on Mother's Day just hours after the birth of his fifth child. According to police, Taylor's car was struck from behind by a speeding driver in Austin as he was on his way home from the hospital where his fifth child had just been born.
