BOSSIER CITY, La. – The KTBS 3 St. Jude Dream Home, a longtime symbol of hope for families and the top local fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, has become the target of a costly theft.

According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, more than $16,000 worth of building materials—mostly lighting fixtures—were stolen from the home, which is currently under construction in the Duckwater Landing subdivision in north Bossier.

Investigators believe the theft happened within the last 24 to 48 hours and are asking for the public’s help identifying those responsible.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the Dream Home site is urged to contact the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100. .
