RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will hold a drop-in meeting next month to share updated construction plans on an ongoing Midlands bridge replacement project, the agency says.

The bridge is located on Garners Ferry Road over McCords Ferry Road, according to a release. This is in the southeast area of the county near Eastover.

The meeting will be held August 7 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. at Crossroads Park Community Center at 2759 McCords Ferry Rd. in Eastover.

SCDOT representatives will share information and discuss project plans to people in the community. There will be no formal presentation.
