YORK COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Deputies are searching for a suspect accused of stealing money from a Japanese steakhouse in Clover.
The incident occurred on July 18 at 4:01 a.m. at the Kochi Japanese Steakhouse at 5360 Highway 557.
Deputies say a suspect broke into a small window in the rear door of the restaurant using a rock. He unlocked the door, propped it open and stole an unknown amount of money from the safe.
Officials believe he possibly left the scene in a BMW.
