CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — At least one person has lost their life in a homicide, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).
The incident was first reported around 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, as an assault. The Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic) says police canceled their response before they could get there.
CMPD later confirmed that they were investigating a homicide in the 10200 block of Reindeer Way Lane. This is in a neighborhood off Mount Holly-Huntersville Road and near Interstate 485.
Authorities have not said what led up to the incident or if anyone has been arrested. It is unclear when exactly the murder happened.
