A new report from the city comptroller’s office takes an in-depth look at how President Donald Trump’s tax bill will affect many services New Yorkers rely on — from health insurance to food assistance.

The report also warns that the Trump administration’s policies will pose major risks for the city and state budgets.

Comptroller Brad Lander, who recently came in third place in the Democratic primary for mayor, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to discuss more.

"I criticized both Mayor [Eric] Adams, but also the City Council. We called on them to put at least a $1 billion in the general reserves for exactly this situation," he said.
