GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An ongoing dispute between three people in Gastonia ended with one dousing the two others with gasoline — and one of them getting burned.

The incident happened in the early morning hours of July 22 on Cox Road off of I-85.

Officials say two people were injured, but details into the extent of their injuries and what led up to the incident are unknown at this time.

Randolph Gilchrist III was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and larceny.
