Police were on the scene of a reported shooting that took place Thursday afternoon in Harrisburg.

The shooting took place around 3:15 p.m. at North 5th and Woodbine streets, according to dispatch, and as of 4 p.m., numerous police vehicles and officers could be seen there, as well as a K9.

A man who lives in the area told PennLive he heard two gunshots.

An evidence marker could be seen near a black BMW sedan.

Detectives were knocking on doors and, in some cases, going into homes to talk to neighbors.

No other information on what happened or whether anyone was injured was available as the investigation continued.
