FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Rapper GloRilla was arrested in Georgia this week after her home was burglarized.

According to jail records obtained by 11Alive, GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was arrested Tuesday for possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance.

Records also show a burglary took place shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday at her home in Forsyth County, about 40 miles away from Atlanta, two days before her arrest.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to Woods' home after three suspects had entered the house and were stealing items, when someone began firing at the intruders. The suspects ran away when gunfire erupted.
