Three female suspects in their early 20s have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in North Vancouver early Saturday morning.

The North Vancouver RCMP responded to a report of "a distraught female" near the Lonsdale Quay bus loop at around 2:45 a.m. Officers located a woman who "had had injuries consistent with being assaulted with an edged weapon," read a North Vancouver RCMP press release Saturday.

Police located two more women on the second floor above the bus loop who had similar injuries.

"It’s alleged that the three females were involved in a dispute, and an assault occurred. Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public currently," police added.
