TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department announced an arrest in connection to the deadly shooting at a Tucson hotel.

32-year-old Andrew Valencia was killed July 27 after being found shot outside the Grand Luxe Hotel, located at 1365 West Grant Road.

The TPD says Valencia was involved in a confrontation in the courtyard of the hotel with several individuals, including two men on a dirt bike.

Both males were eventually identified and 35-year-old Angel Ray Figueroa-Alicea was arrested.

He faces charges of being a prohibited possessor.

Homicide charges will be presented to the Pima County Attorney’s Office at a later date as the investigation continues.
