MOUNT VERNON — Hours after two people were shot and killed early Sunday morning, the Mount Vernon Police Department announced the alleged shooter's arrest.

According to the Mount Vernon Police Department, the victims have been identified as Zomarrius Williams, 20, of Mount Vernon, and Demonta Woodward, 26, of Mounds.
