GRAND CONCOURSE, The Bronx (PIX11) – Two teenagers were shot along the Dominican Parade route in the Bronx on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

Police said shots rang out around 7 p.m. as the parade was finishing near East 170th Street and Grand Concourse. A 19-year-old boy was shot in the neck and a 19-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to her ankle just 20 minutes apart, according to authorities.

Police said both victims were taken to local hospitals. No arrests have been made.

The shootings come on the heels of an announcement by New York City Mayor Eric Adams and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, marking the confiscation of 3,000 illegal guns since the beginning of 2025.
