TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville stopped in Tuscaloosa on Monday, July 28, where he was the guest speaker during a meeting of statewide mayors.

One of the topics at that meeting - Alabama’s Simplified Sellers Use Tax. That’s the internet sales tax formula.

Senator Tuberville didn’t talk about that, but spent all 15 minutes of his time on stage talking about mainly national issues like the national debt which stands at $36 trillion. The senator is convinced the debt can be shaved by 25% over time using new tariff dollars.
