On Friday evening, the exhibit and event room of the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art (AMoCA) was filled by more than 100 art-loving audience members from all walks of life, including the local arts community, past and present Roswell Artist-in-Residence (RAiR) grantee winners, community members and their families. They all came together for the talk and exhibit opening of RAiR Raúl Sisniega.
After an introduction by AMoCA Director Tonee Harbert, Sisniega took to the stage. With the help of a projector, the Mexico City-based artist guided the audience through a visual journey of his art, which changed drastically over the years, marked by shifts in scale, medium and themes.
