DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another heat advisory is in effect Tuesday, but our hot pattern will break as soon as Wednesday.

Highs will top out in the mid to upper 90s Tuesday afternoon, as "feels like" temperatures make a run for 110 degrees.

Scattered-to-widespread showers and storms are also forecast, with rain chances steadily going up after 10 a.m. Areawide, rain chances today are between 60% and 70%.

The timing of showers and storms will affect just how warm we get and how high "feels like" temperatures climb.

If we get any rainfall earlier in the day, temperatures will likely peak near or below forecast values. If showers and storms develop later, temperatures will likely peak near or above the forecast.
