KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hope you're hungry because Tuesday marks National Chicken Wing Day, honoring Buffalo's historic culinary creation.

Buffalo-style wings were invented in Buffalo in 1964 at the Anchor Bar, and National Chicken Wing Day is now celebrated every year on July 29.

The holiday started in Buffalo, New York, and Stan Makowski, the mayor at the time declared the day in 1977 to honor the popular Buffalo wing.

Here are ten restaurants in and around the Kansas City metro offering deals for the national holiday.
