BENNINGTON — Two brothers from Bennington were charged with several counts, including eluding, reckless vehicle operation, reckless endangerment, and excessive speed — clocked at 45 miles per hour above the limit in town on utility task vehicles (UTVs) — after Bennington police attempted to pull them over.
Keegan Babson, 20, and Colby Babson, 22, were allegedly driving two UTVs, both with passengers, back in January when they were spotted by police, who attempted to pull them over. That started a high-speed chase with both vehicles reaching speeds of 75 and then one clocked at 80 miles per hour, according to the police affidavit.
