BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WSAV) - A mother is still pleading for answers in the murder of her son 7 years after his killing.
D'Andra Green is also working for other mothers who are grieving like she is.
Sean Aiken's body was found in a ditch off Seabrook Center Road on July 18, 2018.
Investigators said he was at a house party when an armed suspect came in.
Aiken ran but didn't get very far. He was shot in the back and left for dead.
"How cruel and evil are you that you can take someone's life and then you can go to bed," an emotional Green said. "You can keep living your life. And after all this time, it hasn't bothered your conscience. It doesn't bother anybody's conscience. I got to keep reminding people that this happens. You know, people will want their lives, my life, just not my life
