Indeed, one of the oldest Old Town landmarks is getting ready to jump on the redevelopment bandwagon.

For 61 years, Scottsdale United Methodist Church has been a home-away-from-home to parishioners at 4140 North Miller Road – within shouting distance of Scottsdale City Hall.

Now, without any rezoning needed from city politicians, the church wants to literally become a home to scores of people via a new 82-unit affordable apartment community.
