ST. LOUIS – The cooler weather is more than welcome for Downtown Summer Nights at Kiener Plaza, where there is a family-friendly movie playing Thursday evening.

It's been a brutal few weeks weatherwise and this event has been happening weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays despite the heat. It’s an opportunity for families to come out here to Kiener Plaza for movies, music, food and drinks. This is the second year that Kiener Plaza is hosting the weekly summer celebration in the shadow of the Gateway Arch.

Thursday’s movie, “Mamma Mia,” will begin promptly at 6 p.m., but food and drinks will be available beginning at 5 p.m.
