WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee customers can use SNAP/EBT payments for online grocery delivery at all locations that offer the service, the company announced Thursday.
“By offering SNAP/EBT payment for delivery orders, Hy-Vee can now reach more customers and increase grocery access throughout the communities we serve,” said Dan Gubbins, vice president of e-commerce at Hy-Vee.
Hy-Vee first started accepting SNAP/EBT payments for pickup orders in 2020. Now, the grocery chain says the "new digital experience" allows customers to pay online using SNAP/EBT for both pickup and delivery orders.
When shopping online, customers will also now see badges identifying SNAP-eligible grocery products.
