WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (KWQC) - Hy-Vee is now accepting SNAP and EBT payments for online grocery delivery.

The grocery chain has a new digital experience that allows customers to pay online with SNAP and EBT for both pickup and delivery orders, according to a media release.

The platform also has badges to help customers identify SNAP-eligible products while shopping online, officials said.

“By offering SNAP/EBT payment for delivery orders, Hy-Vee can now reach more customers and increase grocery access throughout the communities we serve,” Dan Gubbins, vice president of e-commerce at Hy-Vee, said in the release.

Hy-Vee started accepting SNAP and EBT payment for pickup orders in 2020, officials said.
