PLACERVILLE, Calif. (KOLO) - Surrounded by prosecutors, victim advocates, and law enforcement leaders at the California District Attorneys Association Annual Conference on Thursday, July 31, home invasion and kidnapping victims Denise and Aaron Quinn were awarded the 2025 Witness of the Year Award for driving meaningful change across the criminal justice system.

“This is a testament to how far the justice system has come in the past 10 years,” the Quinns said at the Palm Desert, Calif. conference. “Despite what happened to us, this really restores our faith and belief in the justice system.”

The award served as a tribute and a turning point.
