WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Two people were arrested during a traffic stop in southern Illinois on multiple charges, and deputies say they found a puppy sealed in a rubber bag.

April D. Watson was cited for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony possession of another’s credit card and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daniel W. Morgan was cited for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, animal cruelty and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He also had an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of methamphetamine out of Franklin County, Ill.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies patrolling in Herrin just after midnight on Friday, August 1 saw a stolen vehicle near 23rd Street and Herrin Road.
