QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- More than 2,000 pounds of illegal marijuana worth $2.5 million were seized from the back of two pick-up trucks and two storage locations, according to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.

Six people were arrested after the products were found in Maspeth and Long Island City as part of a cross-country enterprise, Katz announced on Friday.

According to the DA, the six individuals allegedly transported illegal cannabis products using tractor-trailer-style trucks and delivered them to a SecureSpace self-storage facility in Maspeth. The operation had been going on every week since April 2025, investigators say.
