FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The weather will be calm, and relatively cool for this time of year, through the weekend. Overnight into Sunday morning, temperatures will drop into the low 50s in Fort Wayne, and I expected a couple places north of the city to dip into the upper 40s. Afternoon high temperatures on Sunday will be at about 80 degrees.

One thing that could limit the look of your Sunday is the wildfire smoke still lingering around our sky. It’ll make the sky a little less blue on Sunday afternoon, and the air quality will impact people with underlying health problems that make them susceptible to poor air quality. If that’s you, it is suggested to limit time outside, but you shouldn’t have to totally stay inside on Sunday.
