FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Another hot and humid summer weekend is upon us, as high temperatures reached near 90 degrees this afternoon and will continue to do so throughout the weekend. Dry and sunny conditions remain at least through the start of the day Sunday, but a few pop-up showers are possible in the afternoon. Also, pay attention to the heat index this weekend as it could feel as hot as 95-97 degrees in the afternoon!

After this weekend, we are continuing to monitor some showers and storms set to arrive with a cold front on Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly. A few pop-up showers are possible late Monday before on and off showers and storms take over throughout the middle of next week.
