OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Skies will begin to clear heading into tonight. More sunshine will help temperatures reach near 90° for our high, feeling more like the mid to upper 90s with dew points in the 70s.

You’ll notice it’s also pretty hazy outside this evening, more wildfire smoke has lowered our air quality to a moderate level for a good part of our viewing area.

The hottest day of the week arrives on Friday with highs in the mid 90s. Friday will be dry, sunny and muggy with a strong south breeze.

With the high humidity Friday, our feels-like temperature will reach the triple digits. Because of this, a Heat Advisory has been issued for our entire area, lasting until 8 p.m. Friday.
