Two Gilbert Public Schools principals have received state and county recognitions for “exceptional leadership and dedication to fostering thriving school communities.”

Jim Leeper, principal of Boulder Creek Elementary, has earned the Arizona School Administrators’ Distinguished Administrator Award, while Tyler Dumas, principal of Campo Verde High School, received the Maricopa County School Superintendent’s Exemplary Principal Award.

“These accomplishments are a result of the impact both leaders have had on student achievement, staff morale, and overall school culture within their respective campuses,” the school district said in a release.
