Three people were shot outside the "Another Level" nightclub in East St. Louis early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM on M-L-K Drive off Sixth Street. All three victims were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Illinois State Police are actively investigating the shooting. Troopers and investigators from the Public Safety Enforcement unit spent several hours collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses at the scene.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to call 847-294-4400 or email ISP.crimetips@illinois.gov. Witnesses can remain anonymous.

The investigation into the shooting continues as police work to gather more information and identify potential suspects.
