From Barrie Police Services

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a 52-year-old male who is the primary suspect in an investigation that is currently taking place in a wooded area in the vicinity of Victoria St., John St. and Anne St. South.

Robert Ladouceur, who is described as male white, 5’6, 200lbs., greyish brown short buzz cut style hair, blue eyes, goatee (possibly dyed and multi coloured), is wanted for unauthorized possession of a firearm and is believed to be in the Barrie or surrounding area.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives from the Barrie Police Service Major Crime Unit, who are being assisted by additional resources within Investigative Services, have reason to believe that this male is in possession of a firearm
