The Fargo Blues Festival at Newman Outdoor Field got going around 11 a.m. Saturday with The Deb Jenkins Band starting things off with an hour set.

The 3rd Street Blues Band played music at a side stage in between mainstage bands.

Kansas City, Missouri, native Amanda Fish followed with her band, The Amanda Fish Band. Fish acknowledged Shannon Curfman, a blues singer and guitarist from Fargo, as an influence.

Curfman was one of the performers for Saturday's lineup. Other artists and bands on Saturday's lineup are Mike Zito, Mathias Lattin, and Shemekia Copeland.

Below are photos from the first two bands and the side stage.
