TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Very hot weather will continue this week with high temperatures near monthly August records for some locales again Thursday. A low-grade monsoon pattern continues with slight chances of rain each afternoon and evening mainly along the International Border.

Precipitation chances then begin to increase across the rest of southeast Arizona this weekend.

The Extreme Heat Warning continues through Friday, triggering First Alert Weather Days through then.
